Sequoia is Now Most Powerful Supercomputer

IBM designed supercomputer, Sequoia is now worlds most powerful supercomputer. Sequoia is designed for National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) that operates at 16.32 petaflops, it out performs pervious powerful supercomputer Fujitsu’s 10.51 petaflop K Computer.

Computer development is very fast now, around one year back world’s fastest super computer was China’s Tianhe-1A operates at 2.5 petaflops, Amercia’s XT5 Jaguar  at 1.75 petaflops and India’s SAGA-220  at 0.22 petaflops.
