What to Expect from Google IO 2012

Google IO 2012 is kick starting today, In this conference Google speaks about its software and hardware like Android OS, Chrome OS, Nexus Phones and many improvements. This year’s conference includes the introduction of Google Nexus tablet. What more we can expect from this 3 days conference?

Android Jelly Bean v4.1

       The next version of Android OS is called Jelly Bean and has a version number 4.1. This is a improved version of the present Android ICS 4.0. We can expect core OS changes to support high end hardware and performance tweaks. There should be an improvement in navigation UI, Improved Voice commands, Deep Cloud integration with Google Drive and many other polishes in the OS.

Still Android Gingerbread v2.3 powered devices are launching around the world, Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0 has not even reached 10 percent and  Google is ready to launch its next version Android Jelly Bean v4.1. Google is making Android fragmentation worse, it will remain same.

Google Nexus Tablet

       Google released couple of Google Nexus smart phones with stock version of Android. We have plenty of Android Tablets in the market but there is no direct tablet from Google yet. Google is going to announce Google Nexus tablet that runs stock Android Jelly Bean v4.1 OS. This Wi-FI only tablet is made by Asus, has a 7inch screen and aimed at Amazon Kindle Fire and Nook tablets. This Nexus 7 tablet will be available in two variants, 8GB Nexus 7 Tablet for $199 and 16GB Nexus 7 Tablet for $249.
