DuoGoogle Duo is a simple, fast one-to-one video calling app. As Allo, Duo works based on your phone number and automatically finds your friends on Allo using your phone book. The app will be available for both Android and iOS. As per Google, the service works great irrespective of the internet connection speed.

The Knock Knock feature shows you a live video preview of the calling person even before you pick up the call. Once you answer,Duo lets you join into the moment by seamlessly transitioning  into the call.

By default, calls are in HD video (up to 720p) with crisp audio. This is possible because of the optimization done by Google at WebRTC level. The app seamlessly transition you between cellular and Wi-Fi. And also based on the band width the quality will be adjusted automatically that makes you connect with interruptions.  As Allo, Duo also end-to-end encrypted so you no need to worry about your privacy and security.
