Airtel first to deploy 4G LTE services in India, launching this month

by HEMANTH KUMAR on April 5, 2012

Bharati Airtel, one of the leading telecom provider in India is all set to launch its 4G LTE services this month. First in the country to provide LTE service and launching in Kokatta initially. As expected earlier Reliance is not the first company to provide LTE service, any how its good news to Indian’s. Once LTE services deployed widely, then we can expect the launch of new LTE enabled mobiles like Nokia Lumia 900 and tablets, Indian mobile users may have plenty of mobile models which are not available here but available in US and other markets.

We are expecting the LTE services from the countries largest public sector telecom provider BSNL and MTNL. With the launch of 4G LTE may bring down the cost of 3G service. India is a very big mobile market in the world and growing rapidly and expected large LTE subscriber adoption in 2013. 4G LTE service provides more speed than 3G service.
