Nokia Sells More Lumia’s than BlackBerry total sales, Hits record 7.4 million in Q2
Nokia is hitting hard again from bottom. Their
hard work smart work has started paying off. Nokia beats its own guidance for Q2. Shows continuous growth in its Lumia line up, and packed record 7.4 million Lumia devices, highest ever for the company. This confirms Windows Phone is now the platform no.3 for the smartphones.
All the variants are performing well and the traction will increase further with recently announced Nokia Lumia 1020, the new king of smartphone camera, with 41-megapixel PureView. Nokia has improved in many areas, Stephen Elop, CEO, delivered a fantastic key-note at Lumia 1020 launch event.
With the improvements from Microsoft on Windows Phone 8.1, GDR3 updates and mind-blowing innovations from Nokia, we can see significant growth in Windows Phone platform, specially in Lumia range.
