This is how Microsoft is killing Windows XP

windows-xp Microsoft announced in April 2008 that pre-installed Windows XP Home netbook PCs won’t be available after October 22, 2010. Microsoft intended to end Windows XP. We know that all new PCs are pre-installed with Windows 7 and Now you cannot buy Windows XP directly, Windows XP page is retired from Microsoft website. So, How the Microsoft is killing our most favorite and successful ever, 10 year old Windows XP?

Internet Explorer 9 beta is released and got good reviews, But the bad thing is you can not install IE9 in Windows XP, If you are running Windows XP can not enjoy the beauty of IE9. The other free product form Microsoft, the Windows Live Essentials beta also not installable in Windows XP. So, This is the way Microsoft chooses to kill Windows XP, and force XP users to switch over to Windows 7.

Support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) was ended on July 13, 2010. And Support for Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) lasts up to April 8, 2014.
