Google Chrome OS is tested on Cr-48 notebook internally at Google along with its partners. Now its time for you to test. Google is giving the Cr-48, the unbranded first ever Chrome OS notebook to public to test in the part of the Chrome OS Pilot test program. You can apply for Pilot program to test the Chrome OS note book. Go ahead to know how to apply.
The Chrome operating system is a work in progress, So Google is looking for the right users to test it to make it even better. The Pilot program is open to individuals, businesses, schools, non-profits and developers based in the United States. To select the right users, Google is conducting a small Living on the Web Quiz, you have to complete the quiz. if you are selected you will receive a Cr-48 Chrome OS notebook, in return Google is expecting you to use it regularly as your main computer and send them detailed feedback. This will be open until 11:59:59 PM PST on December 21, 2010.
Go to Chrome OS page and click on Apply for Pilot program. Then again Click on Apply now. Now select what kind of user you are, then fill the form and complete the quiz and submit. If you are selected Google will contact you. All the best.
Update: These business users also include in the pilot program to test Cr-48. Google said they didn’t approached them, but they approached Google for testing.
